I do want to make some formal introductions - however, that'll have to wait till we have a name, but for now, here's some pics of the newest littlest Harrison.
Pretty cute, don't you think? I think she fits right in. She's a little Yorkie and we all love her dearly. The last two days have been filled with discussions of who is going to hold her when, most of it being dominated by a screaming little girl yelling, "MINE!".
We are pretty divided on a name though. Here's the run down of suggestions so far:
Scott: PopTart or Gomer or Shamu
Jess: Mercy or Spurgeon (you know, big name-little dog syndrome)
Molly: Peanut or Mercy
Scott: Chocolate or ShoeShine
Mikey: Biscuit or Todo
Jack: Betsy (the name she came with)
Noah: Toilet Wipe (As I have mentioned before, the boy is obesessed)
Gracie - Pup or Mine
Gracie - Pup or Mine
So, leave a comment with your suggestion - maybe one mentioned above or one of your own. I think this will mark the begining of a new era here on the Harrison blog - we're going to turn this into the first ever Giveway! I'm putting together a little something for our winner - I promise it'll be worthwhile. So leave a comment and this will be open till I say otherwise, and then me and the powers that be will pick a winner.
By the way, our new little one is cute, but not as cute as my pig-tailed, tights and multiple legwarmer wearing baby - Amen? This has got to be my new favorite outift on her - she just might wear it till she turns 10 and won't let me put it on her anymore.

Here's my favorite biblical name: Maher-halal-hashbaz. She'll be in the house before you get halfway through her name. Give it some thought.
Zaphenath-paneah is a good choice, too.
Okay, Joel. Scott says you're just showing off! :)
Though you know our tendency towards Biblical names put you in the running.
After laughing out loud at some of the suggestions (I'm sorry "Toilet Wipe" had me nearly in stitches multiple times the way you wrote it), I'd have to vote for "Chocolate." Other suggestions--"Boi" (pronounced like "boy") (don't know if you know where that's from :), "Shiatsu," "Zip," or "Twinkie." :)
You should do a contest to see who can tell you Zaphenath-paneah's more common name!
Joel, that would be Joseph...if I'm not mistaken.
Now who's the show-off?
Whoa! i must have not checked your blog for a few days and now there's a ton of posts! First, the dog (though not a dog lover - sorry, growing up on a farm my dad always said, "humans in the house, animals in the barn". I would vote for Mercy. Seems like the kids may have to show some Mercy on this dog! Secondly, how did you get the Legos to stand up in the project? I have to help my oldest, Daniel, with this for Native Americans. We are hoping the Lego Native Americans are "authentic" enough for his teacher. (Daniel assures us they are!), We have to include some other things, and plan on using some clay for that. Help!
Sue
Sue,
The Lego men made everything so much easier - though, it left the challenge of making everything else proportionate in size(we did not do so well on that front). We ran out of time, but Mikey wanted to make little Indian clothes for them - that would help make the Storm Trooper a little more authentic. Anyways, we used a little bit of super glue to hold them down on the box - it's clear, doesn't have much residue - though we haven't brought the project back home to see how they really faired. I tried to use some clay to push them into if I could, then we just superglued the clay to where it needed to be.
Another idea - Mikey was really impressed with another project in his class where they used action figures and another where they used little plastic Indians- I am guessing like the plastic army men.
Good Luck on your project!
